ZCityTV was founded to provide an alternative to both MTV and MySpace. With youth oriented media, both traditional and online, going increasingly for “edgy” content, the company attempts to provide alternative content, both as a network television and as a social network, that appeals to the more ethics-sensitive youth of the millennial generation.

As the senior developer, I worked with the CTO to establish the development process for the online delivery system, which includes the online content of the television network and the social network platform. Further, I executed the process by codifying the business requirements with appropriate stakeholders; by establishing the technical requirements and specifications; and by leading the actual development effort.

The first go-round site for ZCityTV is written using Drupal on top of a LAMP stack with additional media-focused components.
